Julie Winfield

Coach Julie Winfield has been a Cherokee County resident for the last 15 years.  She graduated from Etowah HS in 2007.  She played on the varsity volleyball team all four years; earning Player of the Year in the Lakeside Ledger, and led her team to either the Elite Eight and Final Four each year.  She played basketball all fours years as well; and in those four years won a State Championship, and set a record for most three’s in a season.  After high school she received a volleyball scholarship to Reinhardt College and played for one year before leaving volleyball due to injury.  She graduated from Kennesaw State University in December 2011 with a degree in Health and Physical Education.  Coach Winfield has 9 year’s of experience coaching volleyball at the high school and middle school level.   She is currently in her third season as the Head Coach at River Ridge HS.  Coach Winfield is excited to join the 575 Volleyball Club staff and help bring volleyball to a whole new level within Cherokee County and the surrounding areas!

Jenna Wilt

I graduated from Etowah HS in 2012, played on varsity all four years. I was the Cherokee Tribune Player of the Year and Cherokee Ledger Co-Player of the Year in 2011. I helped lead our team to the Elite 8 and Sweet 16. I was a member of the 2011 All-State team, as well as All-County and All-Area in 2010 and 2011. I set an Etowah HS school record for amount of kills in one season (481 kills) and was State Ranked (7th). After high school, I went on to play volleyball for Kennesaw State University and played in all 33 rookie season matches—had a career high of 23 digs against Mississippi state during our Maroon Classic Championship win. I played two years of D1 collegiate volleyball before stopping due to injuries. I graduated from Kennesaw State University in December of 2016 with a degree in Biology Education. I have been coaching for about four years now. I was an assistant coach for an AAU National Championship (15-U Club Division) in 2015, along with many qualifier tournament championships. I have been coaching at River Ridge HS since 2014 as a JV assistant and Varsity Assistant coach. I am so excited to be at 575 Volleyball this season, and I cannot wait to be a part of all of the success the club will have!

Chelsea Brady

I was introduced to the sport of volleyball during PE class in middle school, I quickly fell in love with the sport and began playing competitive volleyball when I was in middle school and club volleyball at 13 years old. I played 6 years of club volleyball and throughout high school. I graduated from Etowah High School in Woodstock, GA in 2013. My accomplishments include setting the record for most assists in one season as well as being ranked as 3rd in state as a setter my junior year.  I was also honored to be selected for all county and all area.  My senior year I was recognized for setting the record for all time career assists at Etowah High School as well as being selected for all county, all area and all state.  I continued my setting career at Reinhardt University. I began coaching club volleyball in 2014 and high school in 2016.  I am in my second year of coaching at my high school alma mater and this up coming season will begin my 5th season coaching club volleyball.  I am very passionate about investing in young girls and teaching them about the sport that I love.

Ashley Casey

I first started playing volleyball in 8th grade and fell in love with the sport. I played through high school on the varsity team all four years, and was named team captain for three of the four seasons. I graduated from River Ridge High School in Woodstock, GA in 2014. My junior year, I helped lead my team to becoming Area Champions and the Elite Eight in state. My senior year, we were back-to-back Area Champions and then made it to the Final Four in state. I also received All-County Honorable Mention in 2012. After graduating in 2014, I coached River Ridge’s Jr. volleyball program for two years and was the director of the program this past year. I am currently an assistant varsity coach back at River Ridge HS, where my love for volleyball started. Right now, I am attending Kennesaw State University to receive a Bachelor’s Degree in Middle Grade Education concentrations in math and language arts. I am looking forward to bringing what I know about volleyball to 575 Volleyball, and showing my passion for the game to young girls who may just be starting out and to those who have been playing.
