Ashley Casey

I first started playing volleyball in 8th grade and fell in love with the sport. I played through high school on the varsity team all four years, and was named team captain for three of the four seasons. I graduated from River Ridge High School in Woodstock, GA in 2014. My junior year, I helped lead my team to becoming Area Champions and the Elite Eight in state. My senior year, we were back-to-back Area Champions and then made it to the Final Four in state. I also received All-County Honorable Mention in 2012. After graduating in 2014, I coached River Ridge’s Jr. volleyball program for two years and was the director of the program this past year. I am currently an assistant varsity coach back at River Ridge HS, where my love for volleyball started. Right now, I am attending Kennesaw State University to receive a Bachelor’s Degree in Middle Grade Education concentrations in math and language arts. I am looking forward to bringing what I know about volleyball to 575 Volleyball, and showing my passion for the game to young girls who may just be starting out and to those who have been playing.
